FAQ



The Font on the website looks so big, how can that be?

We use a special font called "French Script MT" which suits the style of our website. Unfortunately this font is not installed by default with Windows.
If this font is not installed on your computer, you can download it from here and copy this file to your C:\windows\fonts\ directory. This will enable you to enjoy our website in the way that it was meant.

How do I know my order got posted?

We will send you an email once your order got posted.



Can I drop by?

No, you can’t. Both owners of Victorian Flowers don’t have the time to let everyone who wants to drop by. Sorry.



Do prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices shown on our website are including VAT.



What are the shippingcosts?

Our shippingcosts are similar to those of TNT Post. We try to keep our shippingcosts as low as possible by sending your order through letterpost whenever possible.



To which countries do you deliver?

We deliver worldwide.



How do I know which clothing/ring size to order?

When you can’t find out which size to order, you could send us an email. For clothing: please send us the sizes of your waist, chest en hips, and wether you like your clothes tight or loosely. For rings: please send us the outline of your finger and we’ll get you the right size.


How long will it take for me to get my order?

When we have all items in stock, we will ship your order the same working day after you placed your order, or the next. When some items are not in stock, it depends on the delivery time from our suppliers, which are very diverse. (a made to measure corset takes more time than just a simple ring). When we get your order, we’ll send it to you the same or the next working day.



Could I exchange something?

You can exchange things which are still packed/are still unworn. Please contact us through the contactform on our website and read point 6. of our Terms & Conditions. You can not exchange corsets or shoes.



My order isn’t vegan!

When our website doesn’t say anything about the article not being vegan, we’d like you to tell us as soon as possible! Our sincere apologies.



Could you send something as a gift?

Ofcourse! Do make sure this is made clear when you make your order. During the checkout you can provide an alternative shippingaddress where to send the gift, by using the "change address" button. When you buy something as a gift, the bill goes to you and we’ll let you know when the order gets shipped.



What do you do with my data?

Nothing, except for using them for the things you gave them to us: for example to send an order to you. We will never give your data to someone else without your permission!



Will you get other items in your shop?

Yes! We love to expand as soon as possible! Ofcourse there are conditions to this, but we’re doing everything we can. Be sure to come back and have a look.



Will you sell other styles too?

Probably not. This doesn’t mean you’ll never find something nice in our shop when you’re more into other styles, but we’ll probably never put up a whole punkline in the near future for example.



Do you have a catalogue?

No.



You do not sell my size!

When you’re size isn’t shown on the website, we probably do not have it. But don’t worry! Do send us an email, because we got a lot of suppliers making their articles themselves, so maybe we could help you out.



There is something with my order, i did not order myself. How come?

That’ll probably be a present. We tend to send you a little present with nearly every order. When you don’t think it is a present (because it is too expensive or not your size for example) it is probably a mistake. Please contact us about this, so we can tell you wether it really is a mistake and we can do something about it.



Why vegan?

First of all because one of the owners of Victorian Flowers is a vegan. A lot of people don’t know about the suffering that goes with animalproducts. Do you want to know what reason we have not to sell a certain product? Ofcourse you can send us an email. If you want to investigate yourself, you could search the web and find answers pretty easily.



I’d like to buy one of your products in leather/with feathers/etc. Could you get me this?

We’re probably able to get it, but we won’t. If you really want to get the article, you have to look for another shop. We do hope you think about your choice.



Why don’t you sell Stargazer?

Many people think Stargazer is a vegan brand. We have to dissapoint you: it is NOT! Stargazer once did a ‘vegan test’ and did not pass. They do use a sticker on their products claiming it’s vegan: this is illegal.
If you know another vegan make up brand, please let us know. We’ve been searching for a vegan brand for some time now but it is pretty hard to get.
